Hidden Springs is a residential neighborhood conveniently located 1.5 miles north of Downtown Bentonville, 1.4 miles southwest of Exit 91 to I-49, and 2.8 miles from the Walmart Home Office. All the conveniences of town are close at hand. Within walking distance is Lincoln Junior High School, Sugar Creek Elementary, and Thomas Jefferson Elementary. There are also nearby dance, yoga, and gymnastic studios, walking and biking trails, three grocery stores, and several fast food and sit-down restaurant options. The north pedestrian entrance to Crystal Bridges Museum is a short walk away down NW A St and Tiger Blvd.
Hidden Springs has 158 single family homes. The lots are sizeable, mostly 0.3 acres and up. There are four phases in the development which were completed between the early 1990’s to the mid 2000’s. In the last 24 months, homes have sold from a low of $179,900 in the older phases to as high as $499,900 in the newer phases. The homes are mostly custom homes, though some builders built homes as investments called spec homes or speculative investment homes. I would estimate that 75% were custom homes while 25% were builder spec homes.
The terrain is varied: from flat lots with concrete slab foundations to hillside lots with walkout basements or crawlspaces. Some of the streets approximate a simple grid pattern while others follow the top of a ridge and the lots slope away from either side of the street. A walk down these quiet streets shows an eclectic mix of custom home styles from Traditional to Ranch to French Provincial to Mediterranean. On certain streets it feels like you are walking through a forest, with all the giant, mature hardwood trees standing watch over the homes below.
