Kerelaw Castle is a subdivision in southwest Bentonville, located 2 miles from downtown Centerton, 3 miles from Highway 71B (North Walton Blvd), and 4 miles from Walmart Home Office. Kerelaw Castle is situated in almost equal distance to several schools, including Centerton Gamble, Elm Tree Elementary, Ardis Ann Middle School, and the new Bentonville West High School. There are two grocery stores and several restaurants along SW 14th St that are within short driving distance, as well as a walking trail and a lake.
Kerelaw Castle borders the eastern bank of McKissic Creek, situated between Highway 102 (SW 14th St/W Centerton Blvd) and Town Vu Road, just north of Copper Oaks and west of Stoneburrow. Kerelaw Castle is a newer neighborhood, with homes in Phase I being built between 2006 and 2015.
The neighborhood was built as a mix of spec homes (speculative investments) and custom homes. The western half of the subdivision consists of vacant lots that have been set aside for Phase II development. There are 155 total lots in the neighborhood that are all very flat, ranging from 0.15 acres to 0.56 acres with a median size of 0.2 acres. In the past two years, home prices have ranged from $195,000 to $253,000 with an average size of 2,000 square feet.
