Rogers, Arkansas Experiences Tremendous Growth
New reports show that the population of NWA is expected to reach 500,000 this year. Rogers, AR is part of the reason NWA has seen such a rise in population of the past 10 years. NWA Online recently published comparable pictures of Rogers, AR from 2004 and 2014. The change was amazing. From the building of The Promenade at Pinnacle Hills, Target, Cabella’s, the dozens of restaurants in and around the 540 corridor, The Embassy Suites Hotel, The Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills to the current construction of the Wal-Mart Arkansas Music Pavillion, Rogers, AR has become the ‘center’ of NWA that encompasses an area from Bella Vista, AR to Fayetteville, AR.
In 2010, Money Magazine named Rogers, AR #10 in its list of “Best Places to Live”. With a population of about 60,000 unemployment remains low, under 6%, due largely in part to being neighbors of the Wal-Mart mecca of Bentonville, as many Fortune 500 companies have moved executives and offices to the Rogers area. Tyson, and JB Hunt also have corporate offices in the NWA area and remain some of the regions largest employers.

The historic district and downtown area of Rogers are home to quaint shops and restaurants as well as a Farmer’s Market that is held on Wednesday and Saturday.
